Hi, I have a signed drawings I bought June 30,1988 for my husband for our 25th anniversary..it shows an older couple and it says.....DO YOU LOVE OR DO YOU NOT? YOU TOLD ME ONCE...(but I forgot.) I bought it framed for our 25th anniversary, & I was looking at it and noticed that you had signed in GOLD writing on the glass of the frame and it had disintergrated and there was no signature at all. My late husband bought me one of your prints from 1983 titled Hogs and Kisses, 1432 of 7500, when we got married in 2001. Dragonflies have always been a symbol to me that God is letting me know things will be alright no matter what. For my 30th birthday i decided to get a tattoo of dragonfly on my leg...but a week before my birthday I still couldn't find just the right dragonfly. After weeks of searching (online and in books) I found one of your dragonflies at the tatoo shop. It spoke to me. A year ago I got a huge 10 inch version of dragon rider on my leg and have never known who made it or where it came from. Today, I was looking on the internet and came across your website! I have one of your original watercolors. My mother bought it for me at one of your art sales in the park (in Bellingham) when I was about 4. I'm guessing it was 1972 or so. It had my favorite color, purple for the background, and you even added some pink flowers on the little girl's pillow while we waited. Bergsma I love you're art work and how you're able to manipulate watercolors. I work at a restaurant where I found two gift cards, one of them was with the three horses which I love, (the brown, white and black, think it was for Inspirations) But anyway, I myself am a fellow artist with few experience involving the use of color. I have a craft room that I am trying to decorate with faeries. I enjoy the unique qualities that your art provides and I have the puzzle "Hummer's Dream", which I have already completed. The problem I am running into it that I would rather buy the art in puzzle form, put it together and and then hang it on the wall. Putting a puzzle together is very relaxing for me. It's been professionally framed since I purchased it and is in excellent condition. It was signed by Jody in the right hand corner. The frame is oak and it is double matted with brown/tan colors.
